Community Services Tours

Artlab, through its community access budget, offers tours to bona fide community groups free of charge on Thursdays at 10.00am and 2.00pm. The duration of the tour is approximately one hour. It takes in Artlab's four laboratories textiles, paintings, objects and paper providing the opportunity to view items currently being treated, examined or condition checked, from all over Australia. Due to space restrictions and the potential for damage to objects in our care, group sizes are kept to around ten persons and bags are not permitted in the laboratories and can be left in a safe area. We also request that items are not touched or handled by the public. Discover Adelaide Artlab, in cojunction with BASS is a participant in the Discover Adelaide Card. This card can be purchased for $48 and provides the bearer with 8 passes to use at their choice of 14 attractions around Adelaide, of which Artlab is one. If you are restricted by time, or only want to visit Artlab, you can tour Artlab for $14.30 or $7.15 for children 15 or under. A family of two adults and two or more children 15 or under can tour for $42.90. Groups of ten people can tour for $11 each. These tours are also run at 10.00am and 2.00pm on Thursdays.
